after weeks of blood, sweat and tears (ok, so we are exaggerating about the blood part), we are so proud to present ‘the melting pot of joyas’ collection. joyas is a Spanish word for jewelery, and the jewelery is not only unique in design and make, it is 100% handmade by Joanne C (also known as ‘the big cheese’, see here.) this would be her first showcase of handmade jewelery… ever! the ‘joyas’ are mostly made of crystal, glass, ceramic and acrylic beads with metal findings.
‘the melting pot of joyas’ is a mish-mash of ideas, colors and little bits and pieces garnered over the last few months. it all came about from watching too much TV over the holidays, when she started wondering if this would look good with that or if she added that to this and voila, here we are!
